The UAW pays its officers and staff exorbitant salaries with Union dues and mismanages funds by taking extravagant trips and providing lavish perks for its officers and executives.

The UAW is great at creating jobs in Mexico. The UAW likes to tout its relationship with the “Big 3” automakers. However, those same Big 3 automakers have created over at least 47,000 jobs in Mexico to manufacture its vehicles. Those employees are making vehicles to be sold in North America.

The UAW is only seeking to line its pockets with your dues while sending more manufacturing jobs south of the border.

Union strikes and benefits often result in permanent layoffs. One only needs to look to what happened with the most recent UAW strikes in Michigan last Fall. Thousands of employees have now found themselves laid off permanently as a result of the Union’s strong arm negotiation tactics. Those jobs are not likely to return to the area. We don’t need to lose our jobs here because of UAW strong arm tactics.

Hyundai came to Alabama and has created thousands of jobs and opportunities for the economic betterment of Montgomery's employees and communities that would not exist without its presence. We don’t need to send a message to Hyundai and other employers seeking to move into the community that we do not need their economic development or that their economic investment will not be appreciated.
